§ 40-6-7.2. Presumptive eligibility for pregnant women.

With respect to pregnant women, the state hereby adopts the optional presumptive-eligibility program set forth in amendments to Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 1396 et seq. The department of human services is hereby directed to prepare the necessary forms and give the necessary training to providers of prenatal care to enable the providers to participate in the presumptive-eligibility program pursuant to the above-referenced federal laws.
