§ 40-6-6. Authorization to pay assistance.
Authorization to pay all forms of assistance specified in this chapter shall be made
            by representatives of the department, and the state controller is hereby authorized
            and directed to draw his or her orders upon the general treasurer for payments upon
            receipt by him or her of proper vouchers approved by the department.
