§ 40-5.2-29. Noncustodial parents — Employment obligations.
Any noncustodial parent who is required by order of the family court to pay support
            to any family receiving assistance of any kind under this chapter, and who is unemployed
            and, in whole or in part as a result of the unemployment, has failed to comply with
            all of the terms of the support order may, if permitted by a justice of the family
            court, purge his or her contempt by accepting employment approved by the court, paying
            wages no less than the state minimum wage and/or by participation on a full-time basis
            in a rapid job-placement program.
