§ 36-6-16. Credit union deductions.

The controller shall adopt a procedure for and apply the provisions of state payroll deduction for state officers and employees for payments to the Rhode Island state employees' credit union, (a corporation founded under the banking laws of the state of Rhode Island on August 16, 1946, first, to help state employees build for the future by a regular savings plan, encouraged by interest, or dividends, that the profits would allow it to pay, and, secondly, to aid those in need by advancing money, repayable over a period of time in biweekly installments, at the lowest possible rate of interest), and to th
