§ 36-1-7. Removal of officers appointed with advice and consent of senate.
Notwithstanding any other provisions of law in relation to the tenure of their office,
            any officer appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate may
            be removed either by the governor, with the advice and consent of the senate, or as
            otherwise specifically provided by law.
