§ 36-4-7. Probationary period in noncompetitive branch — Acquisition of full status.
Persons appointed to positions in the noncompetitive branch shall serve a probationary period of six (6) months during which time the appointing authority shall report to the personnel administrator every sixty (60) days concerning the work of the employee and at the end of the probationary period no further salary or other compensation shall be paid to the employee unless the appointing authority has filed with the personnel administrator a statement, in writing, that the services of the employee have been satisfactory and that it is desired that his or her service
