§ 36-4-14.1. Ineligibility for other incentive payments.
Any person receiving an incentive pay increase increment under this chapter is ineligible
            to benefit from any other educational incentive program such as contained in chapter 28.1 of title 42, §§ 42-28.4-1, 42-56.1-1, and 8-4.1-1, or any other chapter relating to an educational incentive pay program. However,
            state employees who are eligible for a different statutory or contractual educational
            incentive plan may choose that other plan instead of the educational incentive plan
            as provided for in the Personnel Rules.
