§ 36-3-9. Removal of board members.
A member of the board shall be removable by the governor for cause after being given
            a copy of charges against him or her and an opportunity to be heard publicly on the
            charge before the governor. A copy of the charges and a transcript of the board shall
            be filed with the secretary of state.
