§ 36-3-12. Services to cities and towns.
The services and facilities of the personnel division and its staff shall be available
            upon request, subject to personnel rules prescribed therefor, to the cities and towns
            of the state. In making its services and facilities available, it shall be understood
            that requirements for the enforcement and administration of the provisions of this
            chapter and chapter 4 of this title shall be given precedence and that the local governmental
            subdivisions shall reimburse the state for the reasonable cost of the service and
            facilities.
