§ 36-12.1-26. Internal revenue code qualification.

(a) Intent. It is intended that the OPEB System and the Rhode Island OPEB System Trust satisfy the requirements of § 115 or § 501(c)(9) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended from time to time, 26 U.S.C. §§ 115, 501(c)(9) -, (hereinafter referred to as the "Codeâ€�), in form and operation, to the extent that those requirements apply to a governmental use trust under § 115 or a voluntary employee benefit association under § 501(c)(9) of the Code.
