§ 36-10-9.6. Aeronautics inspectors — Retirement.

(a) This section shall only apply to the retirement of members employed as aeronautics inspectors.

(b) In determining the creditable service of any aeronautics inspector employed by the state of Rhode Island for the purpose of retirement of a service retirement allowance, not including a deferred retirement allowance, there may be added to, and included in, total service as defined in this chapter, not more than four (4) years of applied work experience, the experience to be defined as a pilot or aeronautics inspector.
