§ 33-9-4. Appraisal of property.
(a) The property comprised in the inventory shall be appraised by the executor or administrator.
         
(b) Upon the petition of any party in interest, the court may appoint one or more appraisers
            to value assets of the estate specified in the petition. The appraisers shall be sworn
            to the faithful discharge of their trust.
