§ 33-12-14. Distribution or transfer to domiciliary executor or administrator of personalty of
               nonresident.
Upon the settlement of the estate, and after the payment of all debts for which the
            estate is liable in this state, the residue of the personal estate may be distributed
            and disposed of in the manner provided by this chapter by the probate court; or, in
            the discretion of the court, it may be transmitted to the executor or administrator,
            if any, in the state, territory, district or country where the deceased had his or
            her domicile.
