§ 33-11-7. Affidavit to support claim.

If requested by the personal representative or any party interested in decedent's estate, a claimant shall file in the office of the clerk of the probate court a sworn affidavit stating to the best of the claimant's knowledge and belief:

(a)the legal basis or theory of the claim;
(b)the facts and documentation supporting the claim;
(c)the calculation of the amount claimed as justly due;
(d)whether the estate was credited for all payments and offsets to which it is entitled;
(e)whether and how the claim is secured; and (f) whether the claim is upon a negotiable instrument.
