§ 29-3.1-1. Office of library and information services.

Within the department of administration, division of enterprise technology strategy and services, there shall be an office of library and information services under the direction of a chief of library services who shall be appointed by the director of administration and supervised by the chief digital information officer. The office is hereby empowered to cooperate with the Institute of Museum and Library Services of the United States of America in the carrying out of the purposes of any and all acts of Congress for the benefit of library and information services within this state.
