§ 29-1-3. Reference assistance.

The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sums as it may deem necessary for reference librarians in the state library, and the state librarian is hereby authorized and empowered to employ additional reference librarians. Reference librarians shall have a master's degree from an American Library Association-accredited program.
