§ 21-27.1-3. Plastic recycling and litter commission.

(a) There is created a permanent commission consisting of thirteen (13) members: one of whom shall be the director of the department of environmental management or his or her designee, who shall act as chairperson of the commission; one of whom shall be the director of the solid waste management corporation or his or her designee; one of whom shall be the chairperson of the source reduction task force or his or her designee; one of whom shall be a state senator appointed by the president of the senate; one of whom shall be a state representative appointed by the speaker; one of whom
