§ 12-10-3. Recording and certification of appointments and revocations — Signature of warrants.

Appointments and revocations shall be recorded in the records of the court and certified by the chief judge making them to the secretary of state, and the judge shall also issue to the justice or justices of the peace his or her warrant under the seal of the court, by which the justice or justices shall be authorized to perform the duties specified in this chapter, and shall also, whenever he or she shall revoke the appointment, notify the justice of the peace in writing of the revocation.
