§ 10-10-10. Validity of assignments made by prisoner.
All assignments, transfers, and conveyances of property made by a debtor during his
            or her imprisonment, for the payment or security of any debt, except that of the committing
            creditor, shall be utterly void, unless made for the benefit of all his or her creditors
            in proportion to their respective demands.
