§ 25B04 — Disposal

Pennsylvania·Title 8 BOROUGHS AND INCORPORATED TOWNS·Part PART I·Ch. 25B SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSITION
(a)General rule.--Council may dispose of, by contract or otherwise, municipal waste.
(b)Contract length.--A contract with the owner of a private facility for the disposal or incineration of municipal waste may be made for a period not to exceed 20 years.
(c)Exemption.--The limitation under subsection (b) shall not apply to a contract with a political subdivision or municipal authority.
