§ 6102 — Definitions

The following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: "Applicant."An entity that submits an application for a grant under section 6124 (relating to grant applications and process), including, but not limited to, a cooperative, nonprofit organization, public-private partnership, private company, public or private utility, public utility district, council of governments, local government or any other entity approved by the board, subject to section 6112(c)(1)(i) (relating to board). "Authority."The Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority established under section 6111(a) (relating to authority).
