Text

(a)Offer.--A transportation network company or transportation network company driver may offer transportation network service at no charge, suggest a donation or charge a fare. If a fare is charged, a transportation network company shall disclose the fare or fare calculation method prior to a prearranged ride and shall provide an estimate for the cost of a trip upon request.
(b)State of emergency.--During a state of emergency declared by the mayor under an ordinance of the city or the Governor, a transportation network company that engages in dynamic pricing shall limit the multiplier by which its base rate is multiplied to the next highest multiple below the three highest multiples set on different days in the 60 days preceding the declaration of emergency for the same type of service
