Text
(1)Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section or by court order, the Oregon State Bar may dispose of client papers and files that have not been claimed by a client of an affected licensee within six months after written notice to the client from the bar. The bar must dispose of the papers and files in a manner reasonably calculated to protect the confidentiality of the information contained in the papers and files.
(2)The bar may dispose of an unclaimed original will as provided in ORS 112.815 and 112.820.
(3)The bar shall maintain a log of all retained wills that is accessible to the public.
