A person appointed or assigned to serve and serving as judge pro tempore of a court under ORS 1.600, 1.615 or 1.635 is not eligible to be, or to participate in the selection or removal of, the Chief Justice, Chief Judge or presiding judge of the court to which the person is appointed or assigned.
