Text

(1)The Supreme Court may appoint any regularly elected and qualified, or appointed and qualified, judge of the Court of Appeals, Oregon Tax Court or circuit court to serve as judge pro tempore of the Supreme Court, or any regularly elected and qualified, or appointed and qualified, judge of the Supreme Court, Oregon Tax Court or circuit court to serve as judge pro tempore of the Court of Appeals, whenever the Supreme Court determines that the appointment is reasonably necessary and will promote the more efficient administration of justice.
(2)An appointment under this section shall be made by order of the Supreme Court. The order shall designate the court to which the judge is appointed and the duration of the appointment. The Supreme Court shall cause a certified copy of the order to be
