Any person requesting assistance pursuant to the Oklahoma Indigent Health Care Act and who meets the criteria specified in paragraph 2 of Section 58 of this title shall be required to go through a screening process established by the Department of Human Services as follows: 1. A determination shall be made as to whether the person is eligible for any existing state or federal health care program; and 2. If the person is ineligible for existing state or federal programs, said person's account shall be placed in the indigent health care account of the hospital or clinic's records.
