Text

It shall be the purpose of this act to: 1. Provide aid and assistance for indigent or unemployable citizens of the state who meet the minimum requirements hereinafter described; 2. Provide temporary emergency assistance to those victims of emergencies resulting from fire, flood, tornado and other acts of God; and 3. Provide for the receipt, warehousing, transporting and distributing of any item of value donated to the State of Oklahoma by the United States Department of Agriculture, or any other agency of the federal government, or any agency or subdivisions of state, county or city government, with whom the Oklahoma Emergency Relief Board enters into a contract.
