declare and abate nuisances. The board of county commissioners of any county in this state with a population in excess of five hundred fifty thousand (550,000) may declare what shall constitute a nuisance, and provide for the prevention, removal and abatement of nuisances for those properties acquired by the county through resale and any property located within an unincorporated area of the county.
