penalties. Except as otherwise provided in the Service Warranty Act, any person who knowingly makes a false or otherwise fraudulent application for license or registration, or who knowingly violates any provision of the Service Warranty Act, in addition to being subject to any applicable denial, suspension, revocation, or refusal to renew or continue any license or registration, shall be subject to criminal prosecution and if convicted shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Each instance of violation shall be considered a separate offense.
