All expenses incurred in the operation of parks, playgrounds, playfields, gymnasiums, swimming pools, public baths, indoor recreation centers, and community centers, established as provided by sections755.12to755.17of the Revised Code, shall be payable from the treasury of the municipal corporation, township, township park district, county, or school district, or in the case of a joint recreational district or an educational service center, from its general fund.
