Text

The board of park commissioners may establish or extend parks, parkways, boulevards, connecting viaducts, subways, public comfort stations, children's playgrounds, and public baths located in such parks, within such city or the territory contiguous thereto, and may acquire or appropriate, in the manner provided by sections163.01to163.22, inclusive, of the Revised Code, the necessary real estate for such purposes, and in the same manner may appropriate, for parkway or boulevard purposes, any street, avenue, or public way of such city.
