Text

The land or property required to make alterations in the road or other way, or any right, title, or interest in a road or other way, required for the erection of piers or supports necessitated by a proposed grade crossing improvement, and the land or property required to make any alteration in the railroad, necessitated by the proposed improvements, shall be purchased or appropriated by the county or railroad company in the manner provided for in sections163.01to163.22, inclusive, of the Revised Code. The county shall not appropriate land held or owned by a railroad company and necessary for the use of the company in maintaining and operating its road.
