Text

Except as provided in section5505.043of the Revised Code, any vacancy occurring in the term of a retirant member of the state highway patrol retirement board or an employee member of the board shall be filled by an election conducted in the same manner as other retirant member and employee member elections under section5505.041of the Revised Code. On certification of the election results in accordance with rules adopted under section5505.047of the Revised Code, the retirant member or employee member elected shall hold office until the first day of the new term that follows the next board election that occurs not less than ninety days after the member's election.
