Text
The commissioners provided for in section5305.06of the Revised Code and the sheriff shall obey the order to assign dower, and return their proceedings thereon to the court of common pleas at such time as it appoints. If the court approves the assignment, it shall be entered on its records, and thenceforth the assignment is valid. Thereupon execution shall be issued, directing the sheriff to put the surviving spouse in full possession of the dower assigned.
