(A)Except as provided in division (C) of this section, each hospital, on or before the first day of July of each year or at a later date approved by the medicaid director, shall submit to the department of medicaid a financial statement for the preceding calendar year that accurately reflects the income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and net worth of the hospital, and accompanying notes. A hospital that has a fiscal year different from the calendar year shall file its financial statement within one hundred eighty days of the end of its fiscal year or at a later date approved by the director.
