Text
(A)The medicaid director shall immediately provide notice in accordance with this section if the United States centers for medicare and medicaid services does any of the following related to a quarterly medicaid statement of expenditures for medical assistance programs form that is submitted by the department of medicaid:
(1)Determines that the form has a variance of expenditures of eight per cent or greater;
(2)Asks any questions related to the form;
(3)Refuses to certify the information provided on the form;
(4)Refuses to release any funds to the state.
(B)When providing notice under this section, the director shall include any letter or information that is provided by the United States centers for medicare and medicaid services in its questioning or deciding not to certify th
