A board of county commissioners shall not seek to take charge of property in the manner prescribed by section5155.23of the Revised Code if the guardian, spouse, heirs, or persons entitled to the residuary interest in such property give bond to the board or officers to their satisfaction, and if, at such times as the board requires, such persons pay into the hands of the superintendent or administrator of the county home, an amount sufficient to support the person while he remains a resident of the county home.
