Text
(A)Any person who has been charged under section5121.33or5121.35of the Revised Code may petition the department of mental health and addiction services to do the following:
(1)Release the person from a charge;
(2)Modify or cancel a charge.
(B)The department shall respond to a petition in writing and inform the petitioner of whether a release, modification, or cancellation has been approved.
