(A)As used in this section, "electric distribution utility" has the same meaning as in section4928.01of the Revised Code.
(B)Notwithstanding any provision of the Revised Code to the contrary, an electric distribution utility may supply behind the meter electric generation service, provided that an application for any behind the meter electric generation facilities that the utility intends to use to supply such service was filed with the public utilities commission under section4928.47of the Revised Code, as that section existed prior to its repeal by H.B. 15 of the 136th General Assembly, no later than March 31, 2025.
