Text
(A)An elevator contractor shall notify the division of industrial compliance within the department of commerce when there are no licensed elevator mechanics available to provide conveyance services and may request that the division issue temporary elevator mechanic's licenses to individuals certified by the licensed elevator contractor to have an acceptable combination of documented experience and education to provide conveyance services without direct and immediate supervision.
(B)Any individual certified by an elevator contractor to have an acceptable combination of documented experience and education to provide conveyance services without direct and immediate supervision shall immediately seek a temporary elevator mechanic's license from the division and shall pay an application fee
