Text
(A)Except as provided in division (C) of this section, the state medical board may issue to an applicant under section4778.03of the Revised Code a license to practice as a genetic counselor, designated as a supervised practice license, if both of the following apply:
(1)The applicant meets the requirements specified in section4778.03of the Revised Code other than being a certified genetic counselor;
(2)The applicant is in active candidate status with the American board of genetic counseling.
(B)A supervised practice license authorizes the holder to engage in the activities authorized by section4778.11of the Revised Code while the holder is under the general supervision of a genetic counselor licensed under section4778.05of the Revised Code or a physician. General supervision does no
