Text

As used in sections4582.02to4582.20of the Revised Code:

(A)"Port authority" means a body corporate and politic created pursuant to the authority of section4582.02of the Revised Code.
(B)"Authorized purposes" or "purpose" means either of the following:
(1)Activities that enhance, foster, aid, provide, or promote transportation, economic development, housing, recreation, education, governmental operations, culture, or research within the jurisdiction of the port authority;
(2)Activities authorized by Sections 13 and 16 of Article VIII, Ohio Constitution.
(C)"Cost," as applied to a port authority facility, means the cost of acquisition or construction of the facility, and the cost of acquisition of all land, rights-of-way, property rights, easements, franchise rights, and interests
