Text

(A)(1) On and after January 1, 2016, a fraternal benefit society that provides the contractual benefits listed in division (A)(1) of section3921.16of the Revised Code in this state in a benefit amount of greater than ten thousand dollars shall have and maintain a surplus of two million five hundred thousand dollars for all lines written.
(2)On and after January 1, 2016, a fraternal benefit society that provides the contractual benefits listed in division (A)(1) of section3921.16of the Revised Code in this state in a benefit amount of ten thousand dollars or less shall have and maintain a surplus of five hundred thousand dollars.
