Text
(A)(1) The governor, with the advice and consent of the senate, shall appoint the Ohio member of the midwest interstate low-level radioactive waste commission. The commissioner shall serve at the pleasure of the governor and shall be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of official duties.
(2)As used in this section, "compact" means the midwest interstate compact on low-level radioactive waste entered into under section3747.01of the Revised Code.
(B)The representative from this state on the commission shall not cast a vote contrary to Ohio law.
(C)The representative from this state on the commission shall not cast an affirmative vote on the following matters before the commission without the prior approval of the governor:
