(A)Notwithstanding any conflicting provision of the Revised Code or of any rule adopted by the state board of pharmacy, state medical board, or board of nursing, both of the following apply:
(1)A physician, physician assistant, advanced practice registered nurse, or certified mental health assistant may issue a prescription for an overdose reversal drug, or personally furnish a supply of the drug, without having examined the individual to whom it may be administered.
