Text

No person shall manufacture for sale, sell, or offer for sale, candy with an admixture of terra alba, barytes, talc, or other mineral substance, or with poisonous colors or flavors or other ingredients deleterious or detrimental to health. No manufacturer of or dealer in candy, shall refuse, upon demand and a tender of payment therefor, to furnish a sample thereof for analysis. Whoever violates this section shall pay all expenses incurred in inspecting and analyzing such adulterated candy. All candy manufactured for sale, sold, or offered for sale in violation of this section shall be forfeited and destroyed under the direction of the court.
