Bonds, notes, and other evidences of indebtedness issued under section3349.05of the Revised Code are lawful investments of banks, savings banks, trust companies, savings and loan associations, deposit guarantee associations, trustees, fiduciaries, trustees or other officers having charge of sinking or bond retirement funds of municipal corporations and other subdivisions of this state, and of domestic insurance companies notwithstanding sections3907.14and3925.08of the Revised Code, and are acceptable as security for deposit of public moneys.
