(A)There is hereby created the Cleveland state university. The government of the Cleveland state university is vested in a board of eleven trustees, who shall be appointed by the governor, with the advice and consent of the senate. Two of the trustees shall be students at the Cleveland state university, and their selection and terms shall be in accordance with division (B) of this section. For trustees appointed prior to July 1, 2025, except for the student members, terms of office shall be for nine years, commencing on the second day of May and ending on the first day of May. For trustees appointed on or after July 1, 2025, except for the student members, terms of office shall be for six years, commencing on the second day of May and ending on the first day of May.
