Text

If, within ninety days after the notice mentioned in section1905.36of the Revised Code is given, the legislative authority of the municipal corporation provides by ordinance and the necessary contracts for the immediate erection of a prison, workhouse, or house of correction, the municipal corporation, notwithstanding the notice and prohibition provided for in such section, shall continue to have the use of the county jail for the purpose of imprisonment, until such prison, workhouse, or house of correction is erected and ready for use.
