Text

(A)In addition to other remedies authorized by law, the attorney general may bring a civil action to enforce this chapter or any rule adopted under this chapter. The attorney general is not required to use any procedure prescribed in Chapter 119. of the Revised Code prior to exercising any remedy set forth in this section.
(B)Upon a finding that any person has engaged or is engaging in any act or practice in violation of this chapter or any rule adopted under this chapter, a court may make any necessary order or enter a judgment including, but not limited to, an injunction, restitution, or an award of reasonable attorney's fees and costs of investigation and litigation, and may award to the state a civil penalty of not more than ten thousand dollars for each violation of this chapter or
